This is the piece that was most affected by my GIMP quitting on me, I really wanted a nice, high quality image for this one due to all the detail. If Apple can fix my issues, be assured of a higher quality upload in the near future.
This is a two piecer, with the bases fitting together but not attached. I saw some images of Vinyl Scratch with an electric guitar and thought it was neat (She's playing a bass btw, check the 4 frets). I haven't made Octavia in a looooooong time and I was overdue. I think I was avoiding her because of that damn cello. After this, I'm taking a break from the the twofers. Every time I embark on one of these, there are a number of unforeseen difficulties that always crop up.
These two are clocking in at just under 7 inches and are made of sculpey firm and super sculpey over a wire armature. painted with acrylics, and sprayed with matte sealer. This set will be available at Big Apple Ponycon.
Hahaha, its funny you say that since my hair is the main reason why I don't think I should've gotten anything at all. Sure it was styled right but it wasn't blue. If I didn't TRY to get it blue, I'd agree with you, but I did make an attempt to dye it and I failed miserably. Everything else was spot on so having that one glaring mistake really messes with my OCD. lol
But I honestly enjoyed your cosplays way more than my own. Fancypants was easy since he's basically just wearing a nice suit. Daring Doo and especially Applejack are much more creatively inspired and a lot more imagination can go into them. Well done!
