Forgive the fact that my camera just did not want to properly color capture yellow oxide, the color is not as dark as it appear.

So this was something new. It started out as a basic commission for :iconmega-man-is-amazing:, but then I decided to get fancy with it and add the hanging stand and alter the pose a bit. Daring Do is my favorite non-main character, so I was willing to give it a little more work than the average character. I'm really happy with the way this turned out and, if it weren't a commission, would totally be tempted to keep it for myself.

She measures 6 1/2 inches long and the stand she hangs from is 8 1/2 inches tall. She's constructed of super sculpey, painted with acrylics, and sealed with acrylic matte spray. The vine is made from cotton embroidery floss.

Oh my heavens, this is amazing. I rarely see people doing ponies in truly unique poses, this is one of a kind and the effort is remarable

Thank you so much! I bought a few of those ornament hangers and am working on some more pieces like this one. The hangers really open up a lot of creative options for posing.

I'm actually in the beginning phases of a flying Fluttershy. I'm planning on putting a metal loop in the head/mane area and using fishing line for the hanging.
